Painting & Mixed Media

In the last year I have been trying to combine painting with pastel. I have worked from the figure but also recently at a local allotments enjoying the multiple shapes, colours and textures found at these sites.

My aim is to give as much importance to the line as to the painted elements. It has taken me out of my comfort zone of pastel and is very much an ongoing development which I find both exciting and enjoyable.
