Sculpture

My sculpture work shares the same themes as some of my other approaches with conveying movement as the principal concern.

I like to create pieces which depict animal/animals and animal/human interaction.

I have produced a series of Warhorse pieces which have been described as ’emotive’ by viewers. They depict the desperation and struggle of Horse and soldier amidst the mud and horror of war.

I also like lighter themes and I sometimes distort the human figure thus giving the piece a slightly comical/quirky appearance. I have recently finished a series of self sculptures having undertaken several sculpture bust/mask commissions.
